ABOUT THE PROJECT 

The goal of this project was to rethink and redesign a corporate office post Covid to help reintroduce in-person working as well as providing those who are choosing to work from home an equally rewarding experience by integrating technology and hybrid working systems into the office . SITE AND CLIENT Client: Lululemon Athletics Location: Cork Town Toronto 6200 sq ft.

CONCEPT 

 The new lululemon regional corporate office is 6200 SQ. FT. Located in downtown Toronto’s Cork Town the design goal is to develop a pace that reflects the company’s core values of health, wellness, community, and sustainability, by providing the employees with a flexible inviting workspace for work and play. The space is a reflection of nature blurring the line between whats inside and outside, with the use of raw materials such as polished concrete and cork flooring, natural elements such as plant walls and the exposure to natural light through the office. There is also the use of built-in speakers throughout the space projecting different white noise such as waves and forest sounds bringing nature inside as well as helping with focus and productivity. The office is also a very comforting and inviting with the use of resamerical and WELL methods. There is a variety of comfortable seating that it covered with soft materials and warm colors that still give users the feeling of being clean and cozy. The space will mimic the characteristics of a wave as it had fluid and flexible movement throughout, similar to the practices of yoga and meditation. There is also a big emphasis on community in the company so all the spaces are unassigned and can be used by all.
