ABOUT THE PROJECT
The goal of this design project is to create a restaurant space that embodies cultural identity and engages the five senses. Inspiration is drawn from a cross section of images and elements inspired by the work of esteemed American Architect and designer, founder and CEO of Rockwell Group, David Rockwell. Rockwell is known for his inquisitive nature and unique approaches to creative problem solving to design one-of-a-kind experiences in hospitality design

ENCHANTE FLOOR PLAN

CONCEPT
Located at Museum London, Enchante is a French-inspired restaurant that’s design embodies the identity of French culture while using innovative and one-of-a-kind creative designs that provide users with a multi-sensory, holistic, and human-centric dining experience. The space prioritizes the health and safety of users and staff through its use of sustainable design solutions in the choices of furniture, finishes, and materials that are sustainable and suitable for a restaurant environment. With a clean and soft color pallet of blue, white, creams, and gold, also with the use of several different patterned and textured surfaces such as woods stones, and marbles, providing users with a rich visual and tactile experience. The space is mainly an open concept layout but with the use of layered warm lighting, drop-down ceilings, and semi-high partitions with fogged glass dividing the different areas and allowing for customization and providing users with an intimate semi-private dining experience. Following the design of the museum's exterior, the space makes use of curved edges on furniture and mill-work details to help guide users through the space. Each area with its own unique aesthetics that come together to create a harmonious dining atmosphere pairing perfectly with the beautifully crafted French dishes made from organic naturally sourced food. Customers will feel like they have walked off the streets of Paris into a lovely Parisian bistro.
